Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga is a branch of Ayurvedic medicine that deals with pregnancy & womens health. It is a holistic approach to pregnancy that includes both body and mind.
Pre-natal Care: This includes everything from preconception to delivery.
Post-natal Care: This includes everything from post-partum to post delivery.
Gynaecological Care: This includes everything from menarche, fertility to menopause.
However Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga is a branch of Ayurvedic medicine that mostly deals with the diseases of women, particularly those related to the reproductive system. Here we treat wide variety of conditions including:

Fibroids
Infertility
Menopause
Uterine Prolapse
Menstrual Abnormalities
We give unique local therapy in the form of yoni prakshalana, yoni pichu dharana, yoni abhyanga, yoni swedana, yoni dhupana, yoni kalka dharana in active vaginal infections and certain other gynecological disorders.
At our hospital we have a fully equipped labor theatre with well trained staff.
In case of emergency we are supported by highly experienced.
We have 24hr lab and x ray facility in house.
Department comprises of experienced staffs inclusive of well equipped working models & specimens.

Dr.Ashwini Marathe, working as Associate Professor in the department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga at Sharada Ayurveda medical college and hospital, Thalapady, Mangaluru. She completed B.A.M.S in 2013 from SDM Ayurvedic medical college, Udupi and has pursued her M.S in 2016 in Shalya Tantra from Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore. Her field of excellence is in treating gynaecological conditions like Irregular menstrual cycles, PCOD, Infertility ,Heavy bleeding during menstruation, excessive white discharge, painful menstruation and Fibroid uterus.
