Ayurveda proposes the unique concept of internal cleansing through Panchakarma therapy. Popularly known as the Fivefold detoxification therapy, it is of greater significance in weeding out a disease from its root cause. Panchakarma therapy enables expulsion of vitiated doshas from the body which are considered to be the root cause for diseases in Ayurveda. Considering the wide range application of Panchakarma in different diseases, students will be extensively trained in this subject in both theoretical as well as clinical aspects.
The Department has well experienced teaching faculty and well-trained therapists with standard operating procedures being followed for all Panchakarma therapies.
The Department is well established with various teaching aids like charts, models and drug specimens.
Focus on providing in depth knowledge of various Panchakarma procedures from classics along with its applicability in various systemic conditions.
Provides exclusive Hands-on training on different Panchakarma preparations as well as procedures along with practical demonstrations.
Well curated Departmental Library with reference books, procedure manuals and journals of Ayurveda as well as conventional system of medicine.
She is presently serving Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital as Associate Professor and HOD in the Department of Panchakarma. She is having 10 years of teaching experience in the subject of Panchakarma which includes 3 years of PG teaching experience as well. She has expertise in conducting panchakarma procedures and has conducted various camps and talks to bring awareness to the public regarding the importance of bio-purificatory procedures in prevention and curing the diseases and promotion of health. She has clinical experience of more than 13 years.
